Description

The Fixture Cord Assembly component consists of a female connector and a length of type SEOW flexible rubber cord with stripped pigtail leads for easy installation to luminaires. Fixture Cord Assemblies are furnished with three, four, or five #16 AWG, 600V conductors with 105°C insulation. All connectors are color-coded for easy voltage identification and keyed to allow mating connections only with components of the same voltage. Secure connections are assured by locking clips on the component rear cup assemblies, which prevent accidental disconnection. Cord length is based on project requirements.

Function

The Fixture Cord Assembly is designed to provide the electrical connection between the Plug-N-Go flexible wiring system and luminaires. One Fixture Cord Assembly is required per luminaire. A luminaire can be disconnected from the lighting circuit for service, bypass, or relocation by unplugging its Fixture Cord Assembly without affecting the remaining luminaires on the circuit.
